Norway

The land of fjords. But also the land of mountains, a long coastline with countless islands, colourful wooden houses, winding roads, white beaches, midnight sun and Northern lights. Being Norwegian, I might be a bit biased, but Norway really is something else.

Norway is best explored by car and the right to roam makes it perfect for camping and van life. Because of the fjords and the mountains, getting from A to B is a form of slow travel. I guess the same can be said about train travel. But, I assure you won’t mind the extra time it takes – the views are just too good!

Below, you can find inspiration and travel advice from around the long-stretched country. From short road-trip ideas in the fjord region and where you find the prettiest beaches in Western Norway to guides to UNESCO World Heritage listed Røros and hiking in the Lofoten Islands.
